Built in 1868 as a vinegar warehouse by R L Roumieu, who evidently didn't believe in plain. Red and black brick, arches, two gabled bays and a run of dormers, listed Grade II* and still the most looked-at frontage on Eastcheap. The first floor behind it is fitted and furnished: open plan, a meeting room, a kitchenette, sash windows, a manned reception and a lift below. Monument station is two minutes' walk, Bank five, Leadenhall Market three. Listed, so the plate has corners. Right for a firm that wants the building people stop to photograph.
